RAZ has pushed its pod-swap VUE system from 50,000 to 70,000 puffs, and the new generation shows up in our catalog as two kits: the RAZ RYL VUE 70K, which adds a wearable chain loop from the RYL line, and the limited RAZ VUE 70K Halloween Edition. The names are close enough to cause real confusion, so here is what each one is, how they relate to the VUE 50K, and which pods fit which power bank.
A note on method: these kits are new, and no independent hands-on testing was available at the time of writing. Everything below comes from the product listings, so puff ratings are manufacturer maximums and not measured results.
What RAZ Just Released
Both new kits are built on the same breakaway design as the original VUE: a reusable power bank that you keep and recharge, plus a prefilled pod that snaps on and gets replaced when it runs dry. What is new is the 70K generation, a larger 16mL pod rated for up to 70,000 puffs in Norm Mode or about 35,000 in Boost Mode, with a dual mesh coil and 5% (50mg) nicotine salt. The two kits differ in styling and flavors, not in hardware. The product pages are explicit about that, describing the Halloween Edition as the same platform in seasonal artwork.
What Changed From the VUE 50K
If you have read our RAZ VUE 50K review, the 70K generation will look familiar. Here is how the three kits compare on the specifications listed on their product pages.
| Spec | VUE 50K Kit | RYL VUE 70K Kit | VUE 70K Halloween Kit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Puffs (Norm / Boost) | 50,000 / 25,000 | 70,000 / 35,000 | 70,000 / 35,000 |
| E-liquid | 13mL | 16mL | 16mL |
| Power bank + pod battery | 900mAh + 420mAh | 1,000mAh + 200mAh | 1,000mAh + 200mAh |
| Combined battery | 1,320mAh | 1,200mAh | 1,200mAh |
| Nicotine | 5% | 5% | 5% |
| Standout | Adjustable airflow, digital screen | Chain loop, see-through pod | Seasonal artwork, dessert flavors |
| Kit price | $16.79 | $20.79 | $17.59 |
| Replacement pod price | $11.19 | $12.79 | $12.79 |
Prices are current sale prices at the time of writing and may change.
Two details stand out. First, the combined battery figure is lower on the 70K kits, 1,200mAh versus 1,320mAh, so the higher puff rating comes from the bigger tank and not from a bigger battery. Second, 70,000 puffs from 16mL works out to about 4,375 puffs per milliliter, against roughly 3,850 for the VUE 50K. Puff ratings are set with short, light draws, so treat 70,000 as a ceiling. How closely real-world runtime follows the rating is something only hands-on testing can show.
RYL VUE 70K: Fashion Meets the Pod-Swap System
The RYL VUE 70K kit combines the pod-swap VUE system with the fashion-first design of the RYL line. Its signature feature is a chain attachment point, which lets you wear the device on your wrist or clip it to a bag. The kit includes the 1,000mAh power bank and one 16mL prefilled pod with a 0.6-ohm dual mesh coil, and the pod has a see-through window so you can check how much e-liquid is left. Firing is draw-activated, so there are no buttons to press.
Quick specs: 16mL prefilled pod · 1,000mAh power bank + 200mAh pod · Dual 0.6-ohm mesh coil · Norm Mode (up to 70,000 puffs) / Boost Mode (about 35,000 puffs) · 5% nicotine · Draw-activated · USB-C · Chain loop · Kit $20.79
The RYL VUE 70K is part of the wider RYL range, which you can browse in our RYL collection.
Halloween Edition: Same Hardware, Seasonal Look
The Halloween Edition kit wraps the same 70K hardware in limited seasonal artwork. According to its product page, it changes the look and the flavor lineup, not the performance: you get the same 16mL pod, dual mesh coil, and two power modes. The release leans on two bakery-style flavors, Blueberry French Toast and Key Lime Pie, instead of the icy fruit blends that dominate most of the range. The page describes the first as juicy blueberries over sweet French toast notes and the second as tangy lime with a creamy, pie-crust style finish.
Because it is a limited seasonal edition, availability may not last beyond the season. If you want to keep rotating flavors after Halloween, the power bank is not wasted: it accepts the year-round RYL pods.
Pods and Power Banks: What Fits What
Both product pages state the same compatibility, which is the most useful thing to know before you buy pods.
- RYL VUE 70K pods fit the Halloween Edition power bank
- Halloween Edition pods fit the RYL VUE 70K power bank
- Each pod is sold on its own as a RYL VUE 70K replacement pod or a Halloween Edition pod, and needs a matching power bank to work
If you already own a VUE 50K, do not assume its parts mix with the 70K kits. The generations use different pod sizes, 13mL versus 16mL, and different battery splits. Check the pod listing for your specific power bank before you buy, and start with a kit if you are unsure.

Flavor Lineups
The RYL VUE 70K page describes its lineup as icy mints, fruit blends, frozen treats, and soda-inspired profiles. It lists ten flavors, and availability varies, so use the flavor dropdown on the product page.
- Bitch Please
- Blueberry Watermelon
- Cali Mint
- Cherry MTN Dew
- Frozen Grape
- Icy Mint
- Night Crawler
- Peach Slush
- Pink & Blue
- Pretty in Pink
The Halloween Edition has two flavors, Blueberry French Toast and Key Lime Pie. There are no independent tasting notes for any of these yet, so the descriptions above are the ones from the product pages.
Which Kit Should You Choose
- Choose the RYL VUE 70K if you want the year-round flavor lineup and the wearable chain loop
- Choose the Halloween Edition if you want the seasonal artwork or the dessert flavors, and a lower kit price
- Choose the VUE 50K if you prefer a smaller 13mL pod, adjustable airflow, and the lowest kit price of the three
All three share the same basic idea: buy the power bank once, then pay only for pods. Our guide on modular vs all-in-one disposables walks through when that math works in your favor.
Where the 70K Kits Fit in the RAZ Lineup
The VUE line is RAZ's modular option, sitting alongside its sealed devices. If you prefer a single piece with no pods to manage, the RAZ TN9000, the RAZ LTX 25000, and the RAZ RX50K cover everything from compact to flagship, and the RYL 35K, sold in Classic, Winter, and Spring editions, is the sealed device in the RYL range. You can browse the whole family on the RAZ brand page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the RAZ RYL VUE 70K and the RAZ VUE 70K Halloween Edition?
Both kits use the same 70K platform: a reusable power bank, a 16mL prefilled pod, a dual mesh coil, and two power modes. The RYL VUE 70K adds a chain attachment point and a year-round flavor lineup, while the Halloween Edition adds limited seasonal artwork and two dessert flavors, Blueberry French Toast and Key Lime Pie.
How many puffs do the RAZ VUE 70K kits deliver?
Each pod is rated for up to 70,000 puffs in Norm Mode or about 35,000 puffs in Boost Mode. These are manufacturer maximums, and real totals depend on how long and how hard you draw and which mode you use.
Can I use RYL VUE 70K pods with the Halloween Edition power bank?
Yes. Both product pages state that the Halloween Edition power bank accepts RYL VUE 70K pods, and that Halloween Edition pods fit the RYL VUE power bank.
What changed from the RAZ VUE 50K to the VUE 70K kits?
The pod grows from 13mL to 16mL and the puff ratings rise from 50,000 and 25,000 to 70,000 and 35,000. The battery split also changes, from a 900mAh power bank and 420mAh pod to a 1,000mAh power bank and 200mAh pod, which makes the combined figure 1,200mAh instead of 1,320mAh.
